European Environmental Bureau
EEB is Europe's largest federation of environmental organisations and has over 140 environmental NGO members in 29 countries.

We foster environmental protection and sustainability by promoting ambitious EU laws and policies and their effective implementation and enforcement.  We coordinate EU-focused activities with our national members around Europe.  We run 15 specialised member Working Groups, produce policy papers for the EU agenda, and represent our members in discussions with European institutions, including the Commission, Parliament, the Council of Ministers and with ministries in EU countries. Priority areas of work include agriculture, air, biodiversity, chemicals, industrial pollution, product policy, water, waste, and sustainable development.

For many years we have worked better to protect environmental media such as air, water and soil and have campaigned for a precautionary approach in Europe's chemicals policy. In NanoCap we shall focus on discussing the information provided by the project with our members and reflect our member’s views at the working conferences.
